Friday 29/1/2021

Dear Valued Customers,

Due to very high yard density (overall utilization exceeding 125%), WACT has revised its export full container receiving process.
Please be informed that effective Friday, 5th February 2021, acceptance window to gate-in full export containers will open five (5) days before vessel berthing at WACT. In addition to this, effective Friday, 5th February 2021 full export containers will not be allowed to gate-in after the vessel cut-off, which is 24 hours before vessel berthing. The Shipper/ Agent will have to place another export booking with us on the next available vessel as WACT will not be able to accommodate late-acceptance.
Kindly be reminded that only full export containers with confirmed Nigeria Export Proceed (NXP) number shall be allowed to gate-in at WACT terminal.
To this effect, we encourage all Shippers/ Agents to ensure that we are in receipt of your bookings NXP details, so that same is timely shared with WACT Customer Service Team, via our provisional load-list. This process is required before your truck approaches WACT Pre-gate.
We would like to thank you for your usual support and understanding, as we continue to find ways to manage the expected incoming export volumes and high yard density constraint at WACT in parallel.
Should you require more information about above subject, please feel free to contact our Commercial Export Team who will be happy to assist:
