Dear Valued Customer,

The current slow pace in clearing and deliveries of import containers at Onne seaport (WACT) has resulted in severe terminal congestion which is affecting the terminal operator’s ability to discharge containers from incoming vessels as there is no space to accommodate inbound containers.

With this situation, we are left with no choice than to temporarily hold containers that are meant to be discharged in Onne, at the West African trans-shipment hub (Lome), awaiting connecting vessels that will load the containers to the final destination and also depending on the terminal situation in Onne, per time.

We would like to encourage our customers to clear and take delivery of their shipments as soon as possible, to make space for inbound shipments to be discharged. This will help to limit the inconveniences and delays at Lome which is currently inevitable.

Please continue to make use of our online channels www.pilship.com and www.pilnigeria.com to obtain up-to-date information and track your shipments.
