In light of the escalating risks associated with container loss and the adverse effects of unpaid demurrage, we have taken the decision to revise the advance demurrage charges applicable to import shipments.

Effective from May 1st, 2024, we will be implementing advance demurrage charge of 21 days for shipments with standard free days. Specifically, this applies to shipments with 7 free days for dry containers and 5 free days for reefers.

We would like to reassure you that any prepaid advance demurrage that remains unused will be promptly refunded upon the return of empty containers to us and receipt of your refund application, provided there are no actual detention, demurrage or damage charges incurred. Typically, we aim to process refunds within 5 days.
